How Do I Register as a Patient?

As part of these efforts, we’ve created a streamlined registration process – because registering with a Licensed Producer shouldn’t be another barrier you have to cross! Below is a how-to guide that outlines the steps for anyone wishing to register with Aurora as a patient.

  1. Sign up

First off, you’ll need to sign up with us on our website. To create a free account, simply click here. This will allow you to view our wide selection of products to find out beforehand whether we carry the medication you need.

  1. Register

After creating an account, you’ll be prompted to fill out an application. With this form you’ll have two options: print and mail/fax it to us, or apply through our one-click online form.

  1. Medical Document

Next, you’ll need to visit a healthcare practitioner. She/He will approve your prescription by filling out the necessary medical documentation either via print or directly through our online Physician’s Portal. For those looking for a practitioner who prescribes medical cannabis, we’ve prepared a list for just that reason. While filling out the registration form above, you’ll be able to select whether you require a referral list of cannabis-educated practitioners in your province. If you select yes, this list will be sent to you within 24 hours.

  1. Shop

Once all of the required documentation has been submitted, it can take up to five business days for Aurora to confirm all forms are correct and complete. Then – get shopping! Once you are an Aurora patient you’ll be able to go ahead and order from our online store.
